Since the pandemic began and many people continue to work from home we’ve witnessed the birth of a new trend: athleisure wear.
What is athleisure wear?
Athleisure wear is fresh take on athletic clothing that is not only comfortable, but focuses on style and aesthetic. (Think fashionable and functional).
Do you buy athleisure wear? Do you buy sportswear?
While we are looking to buy in trendy athleisure pieces, DeeLux doesn’t buy in most athletic wear and sportswear.
So what’s the difference between sportswear and athleisure wear?
The difference is determined by whether or not an item can be worn casually. Athleisure pieces can be worn on the go all day long, and can give off a fashion-forward streetwear look, while also maintaining functionality as workout clothing. Think “yoga class at nine, brunch at 10” - this look can take you to both!
While we may take in a pair of Outdoor Voices brand leggings, we’re less inclined to buy in a pair of softball uniform pants.
