If you’re looking to sell with us this upcoming Fall season, make sure to keep the styles, colors and trends in mind that we’re looking for so that you can make the best out of your trip to our stores.
Unsure as to what to bring in? Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered in that department. Below is a complete selling guide of the items we’re currently keeping an eye out for, and some guidelines on how we buy and price the season’s hottest trends.
Women’s Tops and Blouses
This season we’re on the look out for ruffles, statement sleeves and wrap tops. An off-the-shoulder blouse can also be functional for warmer Fall days in California, too. As for tanks, minimal styles with slight details are trending, as well as simple graphic t-shirts. Long sleeved flannels and graphic pullover hoodies are Fall must-haves.
We all have a favorite jacket that’s our go-to for the Fall and cooler months. This season we’re looking for army jackets with feminine details, the usual leather Moto jacket and some others including track jackets, bombers and belted jackets. The comfy pull-over sweatshirt also deserves a place in your closet, too.
Out with the old summer fabrics and colors, and in with the new darker hues. We’re looking for earthy colors including neutrals (and black, of course) as well as the occasional dark print floral. Slip dresses, wrap dresses and vintage 90s styles are also on our checklist.
Denim is timeless; whether it’s a pair of 501 Levi’s or a denim jacket, you can always rely on these pieces to get you through each season. We’re continuing with our hunt for vintage Levi’s jeans, denim jackets, cut-off shorts, denim skirts, overalls and button-ups.
Skirts paired with tights go perfectly with the Fall season. Current trending styles include the button up A-line, denim and circle skirt styles. For pants, we’re eyeing culottes and wide-leg styles as well as the classic skinny jean.
We love a good pair of boots, so this upcoming Fall, be sure to bring us your best ankle, Chelsea and Dr. Marten boots. We’re still looking to buy low and kitten heel height shoes and mules throughout the season.
We love a side bag and a casual backpack that goes with every outfit. A large tote bag that carries all of your needs for school is also on our list, along with small leather crossbodys.
For the guys, we’re looking for flannels to layer with t-shirts that have small details or classic patterns such as stripes. It is California however, so the occasional dark colored Hawaiian shirt is still permissible for the transitional Fall weather along with casual short sleeved button ups.
Sporty-casual is the new cool for guys, so track jackets and windbreakers are at the top of our selling guide for the Fall season. Of course, there’s also the classic leather jacket, Members Only, Levi’s denim and army jacket that go with just about any outfit, too.
We’re keeping it simple for guys bottoms, and taking in vintage Levi’s, straight leg chinos and skinny jeans, and the occasional short (denim, chino, printed.)
It’s not secret that we love Dr. Martens, but we’re also on the look out for dressier styles, including Oxford and Chelsea style boots and gently used sneakers.
Note: While we love vintage, we are selective in what we take. Vintage items must be in style or able to be paired with currently trending items.
Fabric is important. If it’s stiff, uncomfortable or too worn, we can’t take it. Vintage items usually vary in size from current clothing measurements, so we have to take into consideration how these cuts will fit and look on.
And there you have it—a complete guideline on what to bring in our stores for this fall. If by chance you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give our stores a call.
